Spicy Avocado Shrimp Recipe





This recipe makes a spicy, but not fiery, sauce to dip shrimp into, similar to a shrimp cocktail except with a touch of avocado.

Ingredients:
SAUCE
* 1 pound tomatoes, diced
* 1 small onion, minced
* 1 can (4.5 ounces) chopped green chilies
* 1 teaspoon dill weed
* 1 clove garlic, minced
* 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
* 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
* 1 avocado, peeled, pitted and finely diced
* 1 cup cilantro leaves, chopped
SHRIMP
* 1 pound medium shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined

Directions:
1. Combine all sauce ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well.
2. Place sauce in center of large bowl and surround outside with shrimp. Guest serve themselves. Serve with saltine crackers or tortilla chips.
